For the first time, we invite you to experience film music in a "blind" concert format.
Before the performance begins, every guest will be offered a special light-blocking mask. You decide: stay in the familiar reality or put on the mask and plunge into absolute darkness.
When visual stimuli vanish, our brain fully redirects its resources to hearing. Perception is heightened to the limit: the subtlest nuances, vibrations, and the magnificent acoustics of Kirche St. Peter can be felt physically. In this state, the familiar masterpieces of Hans Zimmer, Ludovico Einaudi, and Joe Hisaishi take on an entirely new, piercing depth. You are not just listening to music — you are inside it, directing your own unique cinematic masterpiece in your imagination.
How does a blockbuster sound in an acoustic setting and total darkness?
The musicians of the Vivalis Project have written special arrangements for this program. We aren't trying to copy a stadium-sized symphony orchestra. Quite the opposite — we perform these hits with a chamber ensemble. In this interpretation, and with your eyes closed, the grandest themes sound so transparent, sincere, and intimate that they are guaranteed to give you goosebumps.
